'On right: THE WRINKLED SEA BENEATH HIM CRAWLS: The Golden Eagle, lonely and magnificent, takes the air from some forgotten cliff in the Western Isles. In this picture Mr Harrison has captured the distances and mysteries of those enchanted seas, which are still the haunt of rare fowl and birds of prey. It is a fortunate fact that the Golden Eagle is increasing. Like the Harriers, he may be a nuisance on occasion, but surely the sight of him is sufficient compensation for a few brace of Grouse or the riddance of unwanted Blue Hares.'
